Throughout your home buying process, you can expect to receive a number of things from us at the following stages:
UPON RESERVATION
- Your reservation agreement
- A copy of consumer code
- Your warranty information and contact details
- Any relevant management company costs and services
- Whether your property is freehold or leasehold
- The planning consent reference number
- Specification of your plot
- Confirmation that the property will meet Building Regs, expected EPC rating and warranty stipulations
- Any drainage or water responsibilities
- An expected completion date
- A plan showing the size and specification of your home
- Who to contact throughout purchase process
- A copy of our complaints process
- A list of H&S precautions when visiting the site
- Our snagging process and timescales
ON COMPLETION
- A copy of our aftersales process
- A home demonstration of your appliances
- Warranty details, documents & reference numbers
- A health & safety file for your house
- Home appliance operation & warranties
- Building Regs & EPC certificates
- A list of health & safety regulations for living on a site (if relevant)
- A sheet for snagging
- A date to visit the property to review your snagging list
AFTERSALES PROCESS
- A list of any potential snags and how they would be dealt with, including:
- What happens if you have faulty appliances
- Wear and tear of fixtures and fittings
- How emergencies will be dealt with and what constitutes an emergency
- A list of buyer responsibilities
- A copy of our official complaints process.
