Across the UK, businesses have been adapting in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. After a short pause to review our procedures in light of the lockdown, our teams have been adjusting to the new way of working, with social distancing measures in place.
For several weeks, our skilled tradespeople have been working diligently – in line with strict compliance – on our Station House development in Marsden.
This rental scheme occupies Marsden’s 111-year-old former fire station, with high quality, accessibility and affordability at its heart. The 21 apartments will provide life-time renting opportunities for mature residents and people with accessibility requirements, creating a sense of place for those living there.
And, with help in part from the spells of good weather, we’ve been able to make good progress on site – with residents expected to move in later this year.
The building now has a roof structure and trusses in place, and shortly we’ll be making advancements with the roof slates and begin to install windows, before moving onto internal fittings.
Out of the 21 apartments, 19 in total have been reserved, but two beautiful apartments remain untaken – although we don’t expect them to be available for long.
With high specifications, large sq. ft. apartments, lift access, energy-efficiency, secure entrances and walk-in shower rooms, this scheme is like no other in the area.
