At SB Homes, we believe in backing young talent, whether it’s in the team we hire and train, or the people in our community. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor the boots of one of the most exciting young players in women’s rugby league, Lill Seal.

Lill has been playing rugby league since the age of five, developing the strength, skill, and determination needed to succeed at the highest level. In 2024, she captained her U16s team, Greetland Allrounders, to an unbeaten season—winning the Yorkshire Cup, National Cup, and Grand Final. Now, she’s stepping up to the next level as part of the Leeds Rhinos U19s Academy, where she’s eager to run out in the famous blue and amber for the first time.

Her talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. Lill has also been selected for the England DISE Talent Pathway, the first step toward international rugby league honours. With such an exciting future ahead, we’re thrilled to play a small part in supporting her journey.

There’s a personal connection too—Lill’s dad is a skilled stone mason who has worked with us for years - he’s currently building on our Lingards Fold development. Seeing the dedication and hard work he brings to his own craft, it’s no surprise that Lill is making waves in her sport.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for her, and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way!
