Following the positive planning decision for Lingards Fold – our new home build development in Slaithwaite – earlier in the year, we now have the paperwork and the green light to start work on site.

So, with our ever-growing database of people interested in buying a home at the development, we are full steam ahead.

The preparatory work commences today (Monday 30^th October), with our incredibly experienced team of groundworkers and plant operators starting on site, setting up the compound and securing the site.

Next month, they will prepare the ground, ready for foundations to be poured in early 2024 and building to begin.

In anticipation for the new development, our managing director, Stephen, has been busy sourcing new machinery to add to our growing fleet, including a 22-tonne excavator. Optimised for heavy digging and lifting, it is a perfect addition to Lingards.

Meanwhile, our sales team is developing the plot plans and specifications, as well as CGI and marketing materials.

The 42-home site will be split into three phases and built over a 24-month period, with the first plots due to be ready in autumn 2024.

This will incorporate eight rental properties that will be available to let through our sister company, SB Rentals.

Once the plans are finalised within the next few weeks, we’ll be releasing the information to the people who have registered their interest – all 400 of you! – so please do register if you want to be the first to hear about the plans, before they’re released to the wider public.
